How To Format A Disk Using The Command Prompt

A Better Disk Format !!

Every computer in the world doesn't contain only windows exploitation system, it contains Dos system as well.
Using Dos command Prompt, you can do almost everything in your computer without using you mouse only by writing commands and press enter and the command will be done right away whatever it might be.
There is a big number of operation you can do using Dos commands Prompt, such as creating folders or deleting other, opening a folder or closing an other,...etc.
In this article i will show you how to format any disk connected to your computer using few commands and the commands prompt of your computer.

1- Click windows+R to open "run" application :

2- Write cmd and press "enter":

3- Now it's time to write the first command :
write "diskpart" and press "enter" :
4- Write "list disk" (do not forget the space here) and press enter :
5- Choose the disk you want to format (for example i will choose disk 0 ) :
write "select disk 0" and press enter :
6- Now disk 0 is selected*** Now write "list disk" again and press enter :
7- You will see that the disk 0 is selected with star in the left :
Now  you can format this disk by writing "format" and click enter and you wait.
