How to protect your Facebook account from hacking

Every year, many people get hacked, especially the social media account due to the big quantity of personal secrets stocked in these accounts that hackers are looking for all the time to get some benefits.
The question now is " Is it possible to stop these hackers ?" if yes then "How ?".
In this article am going to tell you some few tips to keep your Facebook accounts from hacking, and that works great for me.

1- The Password :
Your Facebook account password must be strong, strong means that it's not possible to guess it, don't make it like your last name or your birthday date or you favorite soccer team or your phone number or anything like that, the password must be composed by numbers and letters and capital letters and few spaces. If you password is week then hurry up and change it.

2- Secure navigation :

The secure navigation means using the most secure navigation protocol, it's the "https" protocol and not the "http" protocol, so when you open you browser make sure to write  “https://www.facebook.com" and not “http://www.facebook.com", because the http protocol gives the possibility to spy on you and https does not.

3- Login notification:
Make sure to activate it to know if your Facebook account was opened by someone else, that helps a lot actually.

4-SMS security :
This option is the strongest one in my humble opinion, when you open your account you don't get the access until you write them the secret code they send you to your phone.

5-Other tips :

• Do not click on every link you find, or the ones sent by emails.
• Install an Antivirus on your computer and an Antikeylogger and keep updating them.
• Protect your email which you used to register in Facebook.
• Use Gmail because they have the option of SMS security too.
• Activate the secret question option.
